Welcome to Krondorf Creek Farm’s Cellar Door - the heart of our small family business and the only place in the world where we offer our wines for tasting and sale.
In the mid 19th century, Krondorf Creek Farm was a bustling, sustainable mixed farm, typical of the Barossa at the time. In addition to a small dairy, hay and wheat production, an orchard and vegetable garden, the Lindner family operated a small goods butchery, proudly delivering their smoked wursts across the Valley. These staple foods were produced in the beautiful stone smokehouse which is today home to our Cellar Door.
Our Cellar Door sits at the heart of our relationship with our customers and guests. It’s an extension of our home, and accordingly we offer a warm and genuine welcome to those who join us here.
It is also the only place in the world where we offer our wines for sale. We feel that the relationship between our lovingly tended estate vineyards, our family, our wines and our Cellar Door is inextricable, and we honour this by offering our wines exclusively through Cellar Door to our guests - from our hands to yours. Here you can discover the individual stories of our wines and what makes them so rare, with a wine tasting in front of our roaring fire in winter, or in the cool of the stone walls during summer.
Our Cellar Door is open Friday to Sunday, 12-5pm.
Given our very limited wine production, we have a seasonal opening - once our wines are sold out, our Cellar Door will close. To stay up to date, feel free to sign up to our mailing list. We’re not interested in bombarding you with salesy emails; we’ll simply contact you a few times a year to let you know when our wines are available, and when Cellar Door is getting close to selling out.
We look forward to sharing our Barossa with you.
